Check out the Sigrid Anorak

Sigrid’s anorak may be brand new but its story began during the singer’s childhood.

Inspired by the past, built for the future

Sigrid’s Anorak is inspired by Europe’s first GORE-TEX® jacket made by Norrøna in 1977. It is a unique piece that perfectly blends historical Norrøna DNA, contemporary design features and premium GORE-TEX® protection.

The unique anorak is a fully waterproof, hooded, pull-over jacket, using GORE-TEX® Pro laminates. In line with her Scandinavian signature style, Sigrid took inspiration from the iconic vintage Norrøna jackets with features like retro patches, an oversized silhouette, and classic color blocking. The vintage color palette consists of staple brand colors matching Sigrid’s own palette.

Made to last

Together with Gore and Sigrid, we’ve put a lot of emphasis on producing and utilizing GORE-TEX® laminates with recycled and solution-dyed material that offer durable performance and long-lasting experiences.

"My first immediate thought was let’s look back at the history of both Norrøna and GORE-TEX, I have always loved classics - that’s what I wear."

Sigrid’s anorak may be brand new but its story began during the singer’s childhood, as she hiked through rich Norwegian landscape with her family. Growing up in Ålesund, among Norway’s mountainous west country, Sigrid is no stranger to the elements- nor us.
The collab results in a limited-edition waterproof GORE-TEX® Anorak, available from March 2020.

  1. Hi excellent website! Does running a blog like this take a great deal of work?

I’ve very little expertise in coding but I was hoping
to start my own blog soon. Anyway, should you
have any ideas or techniques for new blog owners please
share. I understand this is off subject however I
just had to ask. Thank you!
