During this time it’s more important than ever that we reunite and do what we can to help one another. Share your tips with us!

We are proud of our heritage and our company is deeply rooted in Norwegian traditions. In times of crisis, the real Norwegian “Dugnadsånd” arise.

Directly translated this is the “ability and willingness to contribute to the community, by participating in work that serves more than oneself”.

Let’s work together to get through this and do what we can to help one another (while following local government’s advice). Here is some suggestion:

  • Create a FB group with your community/neighborhood
  • Help those in isolation or risk groups grocery shop
  • Jump on a web call to help entertain the kids
  • Throw a digital party with friends and family (Norrøna Playlist)
  • Walk your neighbor’s dog
  • Call someone you think might feel a little lonely
  • Arrange a balcony concert or workout

First thing every morning, go outside and take 10 deep breaths. Fell the air entering and leaving your lungs. We will overcome this!

  1. Check out https://koronavenn.no/ – a service that connects people through the phone these weird times: “A korona-venn can bring security and joy into the lives of people who feel lonely, worried, and want someone to talk to.”

  2. I meet my friends in online chatting rooms in the evening, we recap what we have done during the day and share pictures and memories. Great way to keep up with your family as well!

    1. I love to cook special meals for my son, David, since this is the first time in his life when I have plenty of time on weekdays :))

  3. Hang out with friends and family on video calls!

I say “hello” to strangers who walks alone on the streets or hikes in the mountains, with at least 2 meters distanse.

  4. I walk to work every day to avoid social contact with others.

Buying food for a friend who is in quarantine

  5. Clean up your local hiking trails picking up litter during your walks to make the world a bit cleaner (recycle if you can).

  6. For the first time it seems children bursting into the room during a work video chat is just okay! It should always be okay. Why do we do all that we do if not for them. Don’t tell them to shush introduce them and tell them what you are doing.

  7. I am now not sure where you are getting your info, but
good topic. I needs to spend a while finding out more or working out more.
Thank you for magnificent information I was on the lookout for this information for my mission.
